NANIH WAIYA ATTENDANCE CENTER STUDENTS IMPROVE ENGLISH AND MATH ACT® SCORES AFTER REVIEWING WITH JUMPSTART TEST PREP
64% improved prior best actual ACT® English score by an average 3.06 points, and 52% improved prior best actual ACT® Math score by an average 2.69 points.
LOUISVILLE, MS.- Jumpstart Test Prep announced the ACT® exam improvement results from Nanih Waiya Attendance Center’s students spring test date following the classroom implementation of the Jumpstart Review. Of the students having at least one prior ACT® score for improvement comparison, 64% improved prior best actual ACT® English score by an average 3.06 points, and 52% improved prior best actual ACT® Math score by an average 2.69 points.
Top achievers were recently recognized and include:
- Cal Adcock (English +4 pts.)
- Tanner Childs (English +6 pts.)
- Ashtyn Drury (English +8 pts. and Math +8 pts.)
- Alyssa Eaves (English +4 pts.)
- Aiden Hill (scored 20 on first attempt)
- Mason Jones (Math +6 pts.)
- Hayley Rogers (Math +5 pts.)
- Sydney Rogers (English +5 pts.)
Student Ashtyn Drury commented, “Jumpstart helped me improve my scores in English, Reading, and Math.”
“Jumpstart helped me read questions faster and figure out math problems,” said Aiden Hill.
These improvements are not possible without the diligence and support of the teachers tasked to help raise scores at Nanih Waiya.
The guidance and encouragement of administration also plays a huge role in raising scores.
Jumpstart Test Prep is an online review program based on over 50 years of work by Dot McClendon, a legendary educator and Mississippi's 19-year STAR teacher Hall of Fame inductee.
